Bladet Tromsø is a daily newspaper published in Tromsø(Romsa in Northern Sami, nominative case) is a city and municipality in the county of Troms, Norway. The first church on the Tromsøya island was erected in the 13th century, and a redoubt, Skansen, was built (probably) during the 17th century. Bladet Tromso was founded 24. January 1898, with Erling Steinbø as the first editor in chief. Today Bladet Tromsø's main editor is Jonny Hansen, and it is owned by Harstad Tidende and the mediagiant Schibsted.
The newspaper is distributed widely in Norway, but its main news focus is the county of Troms, and the northern parts of Norway.
In 2006 the paper had an average circulation of about 110.000. It distributes daily, except Sundays.
